This small production of Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay and Semillon is the result of many years of research into the best possible expression of the quartzitic sandstone derived soils and our cool, maritime expression. Complexity and character are built through fermentation and ageing in ceramic eggs and amphorae, and carefully blended. The goal is to produce an appellation and soil driven wine with marked classical styling.
A fresh, crispy, full character, easy drinking pleasure. This fruity, dry white wine was carved from dry land bush vines from the granite slopes of the Paardeberg in the Swartland.
This dry, full-bodied white is matured for 12 months in new 300 litre French oak barrels. It is characterised by tangy citrus fruits softened by undertones of vanilla and a nutty complexity. Awarded four stars in the John Platter Wine Guide, this is a big wine for special occasions.
A light, crisp, dry wine that is fruit driven and juicy. Unwooded and refreshing with lovely guava and melon flavours rounded off with a hint of freshly cut grass and pear undertones.
This dry, slightly wooded, medium-bodied white wine is creamy with a floral nose and lime zest finish that provides the perfect balance to the depth of wood. Silver medal winner at the 2015 Michelangelo Wine Awards.
